This is a procedural shader to create 3Dprinted layered effect. Enjoy it.
The shader works both in Eevee and Cycles.
In the .blend file you can find 7 material examples.
You can also find the instructions to set the shader properly and details for each parameter of the nodes group into the "info" material.
Below an instruction video to use it.
This shader is based on object coordinates, to work properly you should set Texture Space Size in Object Data Properties with the same value for each axis.
Example render with Cycles first and Eevee then.
Tested with Blender 2.82
