If you often work with 3D printing, this simple shader could be helpful also for you!
It dynamically shows the model's overhangs to quickly see where can be necessary to use supports, or where the model needs correction before the export.
As it is a real-time shader for blender material viewport, you can use it during the modelling/sculpting process to reduce the overhangs (see the gif below).
The shader works both in Eevee and Cycles.
In the .blend file, you can find a material with 2 node groups: change the degree value to match your 3d printing settings and adjust the model in the material preview with the modelling or sculpting tool.
Tested with Blender 3.4 and 2.93
